OUR STORY
While studying Art History in London, I found myself surrounded by the greats - Monet’s softness, Van Gogh’s fury, Kusama’s infinity. Every museum felt like a celebration of expression. And yet, something felt missing.
It wasn't mastery or emotion. It was rootedness. The feeling of heritage passed from hand to hand. That’s when I realised, the art that moved me most wasn’t hanging on walls. It was back home, in the hands of artisans who had been preserving craft quietly for generations.
That realization became the seed for Object Theory.
This isn’t just a brand. It’s a way of remembering. Of honouring where I come from, and sharing it with the world, not as nostalgia, but as something alive. At Object Theory, we work with artisans across India to create objects that are rich in tradition, but made for today. Pieces that carry the stories, symbols, and soul of India and fit effortlessly into modern homes.
Every object we curate is not just handmade, but heart-made. A reflection of who we are, modern, but deeply rooted. Object Theory is my way of bringing India home, no matter where in the world home may be.

MADE&FOUND IN INDIA
We draw from the many Indias - from temple motifs to everyday tools, from ancient forms to forgotten patterns and shape them into objects that speak to both heritage and modernity.
Each object is thoughtfully made to be lived with, not just admired.
OUR INSPIRATION
Our inspiration comes from India itself; its art, its architecture, its materials. From paintings that carry centuries of memory, to monuments where light and stone tell their own stories, to brass, marble, and wood that only grow richer with time.
These aren’t just references to us, they’re reminders of how beauty, craft, and feeling can live together. That’s what we try to bring into every object we make: history you can hold, and meaning you can live with.
